7Sense Strengthens Partnership with Linnes Gård
7Sense has strengthened its collaboration with Linnes Gård by significantly expanding its sensor technology on the farm.
Horten, July 1, 2024 – 7Sense has strengthened its collaboration with Linnes Gård by significantly expanding its sensor technology on the farm. With an increase from 2 to 14 irrigation sensors, Linnes Gård has now positioned itself as the leading user of 7Sense's sensor solutions in Norway. This expansion was recently completed when 7Sense's sales representative, Kasper, delivered 12 new sensors to the farm.
Linnes Gård, known for its diverse production of vegetables and edible flowers, has shown great confidence in 7Sense's technology to optimize its agricultural operations. The farm already has a range of sensors that monitor both coolers and greenhouses, as well as several weather stations with soil probes.
According to Linnes Gård, the sensors play a crucial role in two key areas:
- They simplify the process of documenting the last watering before harvest, which is a requirement from Norwegian Food Authorities to ensure quality and traceability.
- They act as an alert system for unforeseen events, allowing the farm to respond quickly to potential threats to the crops.
This investment in technology underscores Linnes Gård's commitment to innovation and efficiency in agriculture, aiming to improve both productivity and profitability.
